Job role – Security dog handler 

Hours available – 54 hours per week minimum in 13.5 hourly shifts

Duties – follow the assignment orders. Securing the gate and opening in the morning for work force. 

Regular patrols showing a physical presence on site 

Entries into DOB and check calls with HQ 

Low risk site, full welfare and very clean.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced K9 Handler to join our existing team. The ideal candidate will have high levels of practical ability and have an adaptable approach. Our K9 Handlers are responsible for the safety of a portfolio of properties and need to have great communication skills. You will be the face of the company for our clients, making operational critical decisions daily. One minute you may be updating a client on recent events and the next, providing reassurance or searching for persons as a deterrent. We aim to build long-lasting relationships by demonstrating that we deliver to consistently high standards and that we can adapt.

PCSS are looking to build a team of 2-3 K9 units for a nightly patrol 20:00-05:00 x7 nights per week in Kensington & Chelsea area.

We’d love it if you could send candidates our way
Candidates must have:

• Valid SIA license with at least 6 months until expiry (if less, we will keep in touch)
• UK right to work
• Relevant NASDU certificates: lvl 2 GP and lvl 3 Drug detection(?)
• Security dog handling experience is required as they must be able to work alone. Door supervision or CCTV work experience is a plus

Flexible work and self-employed basis.

Pay rate up to £16-35 depending on experience and what we can secure from our client.

We’re looking to build a long term relationship with our K9 units. There is good potential for this contract to increase in value should we provide good service, I will give details to candidates.
